Summary: We R Sports have a range of popular outdoor trampolines with safety nets. You can get these from 6ft (jumping area sizes), through 8, 10 and all the way to 16ft. These products are mildew resistant (many of the ‘no name’ brands fail in this respect). They are sturdy too, with up to 150kgs – over 23 stone – as the maximum advised weight. If you are looking for safety + quality build, then the We R Sports outdoor trampoline with safety net enclosure could be the right choice for you. The size out trampolines is always given in terms of the jumping area. This means that you’ll get a bigger item than the raw numbers show – overall these trampolines are impressively sized. Underneath there are 3 galvanised metal legs, these are long bars – spreading the weight and providing stability. You’ll also find some steps to help you get on board. The poles which hold the netting make the unit approx. 8 feet to 9 feet tall. Netting is solid enough to stop you falling out – though I would not recommend making a concerted effort to jump through it! You get into the enclosed trampoline via a zip at the top of the steps. Surrounding the elasticated jumping area is a circular foam cushion.
It is worth noting that We R Sports Trampolines have approvals from several of the key industry bodies. These include TUV, GS, EN-71 and CE approval.
This outdoor trampoline comes flat packed, and some assembly is required. While most buyers said this was easy, there are always some who struggle with assembling even the simplest items – so keep this in mind when assessing the fairness of the feedback from previous buyers.
What I like about this item is that it is backed by a well known name in the world of fitness equipment. We R Sports has a wide range of home fitness machines and accessories – so you are not just dealing with some faceless importer.
I always look for a theme over many comments, and the word ‘quality’ does appear many times for these trampolines. One comment even mentions that the family have been through several other trampolines and found the We R Sports model to be better quality!
The maximum user weight limit of 150kg also came in for some praise. I’m sure that if someone of 23kg+ did decide to use one it would make an excellent youtube video.
As mentioned above, some people complained about the assembly. The consensus is that this is easy enough, even for one person. I’ll let you reach your own conclusion from the comments on this!
There are a lot of positives here. A robust item, with a big safety net and enough ‘bounce’ for even the heavier users. By getting your trampoline from a big name in fitness equipment, you’ll have peace of mind too. Check out this product page to see the different sizes and full specs now!
