Summary: The Ultrasport mini exercise bike comes from the same brand that created the best-selling ‘f-bike’. This unit gives you the benefits of a bike, without the stand. It is a small unit, with pedals, a dial to change the resistance and simple display. The idea is that you put it under your desk, or on the floor next to the sofa. You pedal away while watching the TV, burning those calories, and improving your cardio fitness.
Feedback from 1000’s of people show that this unit is simple, yet effective.
Best of all, you won’t need to break the bank to buy one. They are among the cheapest exercise bikes you can get. Check out the gallery, feedback, and full spec, over on this dedicated amazon.co.uk product page now!
This is a small unit, it measures just 36cm by 36cm by 29cm. It weighs in at only 5.9kgs. At the base are wide stabilising bars with rounded ends. They keep the unit flat, while the narrow middle part holds the pedals. This mini-exercise bike is black, with only the chrome-effect bars for the pedals adding a splash of silver.
The top is sloped towards you. This means you can look down and see the LCD display.
Inside is a 2kg flywheel. This keeps the pedalling smooth and the resistance predictable. You will see a dial on the front. This is a simple resistance controller. You turn it clockwise to increase the resistance, and anticlockwise to reduce it.
Plastic straps on the pedals help to keep your feet in place. Not too much assembly is needed. You really just need to screw in the pedals. Note that they screw in using opposite directions.
The display is simple, though it does a great job of tracking all the key pieces of information about your workout. It will keep changing to show the following: Time spent peddling, distance covered, rotations of the pedals per session, total rotations, and an estimate of the number of calories you have burned.
While this will not connect to smartphone apps, or remember profiles of the users, it does a solid job of showing the basics.
There are 1000’s of comments left for this product by owners. Overall, the feedback is hugely positive, with well over 4 stars at the time of writing this.
A reoccurring theme in the feedback was the word ‘easy’. This was used in multiple different ways. The mini bike was described as easy to set up, easy to use… and as an easy way to work out. People loved the convenience. There is no need to go to your spare room, you just plonk it on the floor next to your seat and off you go.
There were a couple of negatives. One buyer had problems with it moving on a table. Best I can work out from his semi-literate rant, it fell off the table!
Considering that the cheaper the fitness equipment the more ‘ranty’ the feedback, this model does great.
As always, make sure you read the comments from owners before you buy – you just never know when things can change.
You can pop it on the floor and get some exercise in front of the TV (or while working!), or you can put it on the table and use your arms to ‘peddle’.
Either way, the Ultrasport Mini Exercise bike is a best-seller. It is one of the cheapest exercise bikes you will find anywhere too. With the solid service from this brand – who are famous for their ‘f-bike’ range. You should have no worries about buying.
This is ideal for older people, those returning to fitness and for anyone that does not feel like shutting themselves away while they burn a few calories.
