With many of the best-selling bikes on major portals in both the budget and mid-range categories – it is hard to miss JLL exercise bikes. This company, located in Birmingham, has carved out a niche based on solid bikes and great service. While many companies claim to offer great service, you only have to look at the feedback / comments from buyers to see that JLL really delivers on this!
This page covers the extensive range of JLL exercise bikes in depth. There are three main categories to get through. Here is what you will find on this page:
Before I go any further, here is a table showing the most popular options for each of upright, studio and recumbent models. There is a lot more information below this on the individual bikes.

If you are new to home bikes, here is a quick explanation of the difference between the three types – along with how JLL name them.
Below you will find the best-selling models in each of these categories in turn. JLL use ‘100’ for their entry level indoor bikes. As you move up the numbers, the size, technology and features are boosted. The best bikes currently have 600 after the letters that show which type of bike you get.
These are listed in the same order you will find in the table above – with the budget models (which are always the most popular) first:
All the upright home exercise bikes from JLL have serial numbers starting with JF. These start at a budget price under £100 and go through to a mid-range £300+. The prices change (and there are sometimes discounts available), so I have only listed guidelines / price brackets below. You can get the latest price any time via the dedicated product pages – where you will also find the full gallery.
You’ll get a decent spec and a smart design with the entry level upright ‘JF100’. You get a heart-rate monitor, LCD display and 10 levels of magnetic resistance. When you consider this is a similar price point to the foldable – and flimsy according to some buyer reviews – F-Bike range, then you have a bargain.
With a solid base and 7-level adjustable seat, plus 12-month warranty, the JLL JF100 is a hugely popular bike. What you will not get at this price point is the automatic resistance (you need to turn a dial) or app compatibility. For a basic, reliable bike which gets the job done, you really can’t go wrong with this unit.
Buyer feedback is very positive – and comes from users with a huge range of ages. The easy to use bike and JLL’s customer service both get mentions.

This is the cheapest (and most popular by far) of the recumbent bikes from JLL. If you check the gallery, you’ll immediately spot that the handlebars are below the seat. These allow you to hold on for a more vigorous workout – and also contain the heart-rate monitor.
Your heart rate is shown on the electronic console at the front. This will scan through the following: Speed, RPM, distance travelled, calories burned and total time.
I like the silver / grey and black design of this model. It has a 2-way 5Kg flywheel and a quiet action based on belt drive technology.
For the bargain price point, you’ll be surprised at the build quality. Feedback has been excellent, with many users pleasantly surprised how comfortable (as well as quiet) this model is. It is absolutely possible to get a great workout while you are sitting back – don’t let that comfortable, padded seat fool you.

A new ‘pro’ version of the IC200 has a new look. For me this looks less like a regular studio bike, and more futuristic. There is certainly some up to date technology involved in the constriction of this bike. It has 10 levels of resistance, a 7kg flywheel and a wide, stable frame to keep it steady for those all-important sprints.
When you compare what you get with similar bikes at this price point then you quickly realized that this entry level upright is excellent value. Add in the quality build and customer service that JLL are known for. The older (non-pro) model was category best-seller. I expect the IC200 Pro will become one before long.
Feedback has been excellent for this model, with easy assembly / setup coming in for specific praise.

IC300 ‘Pro’ version is the popular upright from JLL. It looks amazing and has a price point nestled between the 200 and 400 models,
This is a solid piece of equipment for the money, boasting a 20kg flywheel plus adjustable magnetic resistance. This is a heavy bike, weighing in at 45kgs. The handlebars stick out from the front and are adjustable (as is the saddle) to suit all sizes of user. This is a quiet model, which is flexible enough for anything from a gentle ride to an intensive cardio workout. You’ll get a full electronic display with the IC300 Pro covering speed, distance, calories burned, time, RPM and pulse rate (via built-in monitors).
If you know JLL fitness equipment in any category, it will not come as any surprise that the feedback for this model has been very positive. The quietness was mentioned several times, this surprised many buyers based on the size / robustness. Feedback was good from group workout fans as well as regular users.

This model is not just the next step up from the 200 and 300 covered above – it is the first studio bike from JLL. Everything about this model is commercial quality. Lets start with the size and build. You’ll be hard pushed to find any manufacturer recommending a bike for users up to 150kgs (23.6 stone) let alone one which can be used for sprinting.
The IC400 has a bigger LCD monitor with multiple functions. It also has a tablet holder. You can get the best from this model by using ‘iConnect’ to work with apps on your iPad or Tablet. Add to this a huge 22kg flywheel, plus resistance to simulate all different kinds of rides. While not quite a Peloton, for me the JLL IC400 Pro comes close.
Studio-grade is one of those terms which marketing departments throw around liberally. I use it sparingly, though this JLL Studio bike is certainly worthy of them.

I did a double take the first time I saw this model. The shape is different to any other home recumbent, with the flywheel higher up at the front. It looks as amazing as it rides with a lot of pro features for the price level. This model comes with a programmable console (it remembers your info) and even a body-fat measurement. You can track your progress in the usual ways with calories, speed, distance, heart rate and so on.
The seat is easily adjustable. This allows you to use the RE600 for different people easily and then return to the bike to your settings immediately. Don’t be fooled by the comfort of the padded seat – you will be able to get a very tough cardio workout at the top end of the resistance levels. Sitting back keeps the unit stable compared to uprights – making recumbents popular among older users and those returning to fitness.
Positive feedback for this unique-looking recumbent home bike. Check out the picture gallery and tech options for yourself now, over on this dedicated amazon.co.uk product page.
There are a lot of differences between this pro upright home bike and the ‘100’ series entry level ones. Top of my list is the electro-magnetic resistance. This means that the resistance is controlled via the console. You can do preset programmes, or manually adjust it. If you are tired of stopping to change the resistance by turning a dial – then the JF600 could be the perfect solution.
Designers at JLL went for stylish, rather than futuristic for this unit. I like the parallel lines of the main bars, and subtle use of reds. This bike is app compatible, and does include a holder for your tablet or iPad.
As for all the JLL bikes, this one has some excellent feedback.

This section looks into what makes JLL different from the many other fitness equipment makers out there. I will admit that a UK (Brum!) based outfit with a track record of great service will get my vote over a ‘no name’ generic brand selling the same old Chinese kit with a different name on it… Of, course, that is an oversimplification:
Here are my top 5 reasons to choose JLL exercise bikes:
Most models covered here have adjustable setups. The upright bikes are the most flexible, with both the seat and handlebars having flexibility. From the Q&A sections, users as small as 4’10” and as tall as 6’4” have reported no issues. If the worst comes to the worst and you can’t make a model work for you, then you can always return it to amazon for a refund.
This will depend on the model. Some start as low as 100kgs (over 15 stone), with the pro and commercial models bigger than that. While I can’t recommend ignoring these guidelines, keep in mind that all fitness equipment makers are cautious with these guidelines… it stops them getting sued!
Always consult a medical professional if you are recovering from illness before undertaking any workout routine. Having said that, many people in the comments of different models reported that they are recovering from various ailments, some serious.
Older people can certainly use these bikes. As with anything, start slow / gentle, and before you know it, you’ll be sprinting out the front at your local class!
Yes. Each of the models comes with small wheels, usually at the front. These allow you to tip the bike up and wheel it around. Keep in mind that some of the pro / commercial models are heavy.
Yes. All bikes come in parts. You will not need to do anything too complex, though some assembly is always needed with this type of fitness equipment. Feedback / comments for the unit you are interested in is a great place to check out how hard assembly was. Anything above super-easy will usually attract one or two people that like to write about their efforts at great length. People will helpfully note if it was easy too.
This one is easy for me. Amazon is always the first place to check. Not only will you find the best starting price, delivery will be included. Add to this the easy refund policy (amazon.co.uk don’t argue and refund for any reason if you return the goods), and this site is a clear top choice.
Yes, you need to opt for the IC400 Pro Studio bike to get special pedals which let you clip your shoes, this will give you added safety and stability – especially for those all-important stand-up sprints.
JLL Fitness are a rare British fitness equipment brand. They are based in Birmingham, and have a giant showroom just outside of it. Three things make this brand stand out for me.
Here is the table from the top of this page once again. If you have read even parts of the info here, the small comments here will now make a lot more sense!
